In 2023, Breitling replaced the AB0118 generation from 2019 with the new reference AB0145 — marking the 80th anniversary of the Premier design. The AB0145211G1A1 wears what is arguably the most classic of the five new dials: silver with dark subdials, a contrast collectors have long called the "Silver Panda." The 42mm steel case is unchanged from its predecessor, with a case height of 13.65mm — keeping the Premier surprisingly flat on the wrist despite the B01 caliber inside.
## What Changed Under the Dial in 2023
The revised B01 caliber is the real step forward. Breitling has reduced the rotor size — a detail that barely registers in daily wear, but opens up the view through the sapphire caseback considerably. 70 hours of power reserve, COSC chronometer certification, 100m water resistance: the core specs of the AB0145 are identical to the AB0118, yet the finishing quality on the silver galvanic surface of the 211G1 dial is a clear grade above the 2019 model.
