In 2023, Breitling completely reworked the Top Time Triumph — and not cosmetically. Reference AB01764 succeeds the A23311, and the heart of the change is the movement: out goes the outsourced Caliber 23 with its 48-hour power reserve and 27 jewels, in comes the Manufacture Caliber B01. 70-hour power reserve, 47 jewels, column wheel, vertical clutch — and COSC certification. At the same time, case height drops from 14.27 mm to 13.3 mm, while water resistance climbs from 30 to 100 metres. This isn't an update — it's an entirely different proposition.
## Why the Zorro Dial in Ice Blue Is a Category Unto Itself
The AB01764A1C1X1 wears the Zorro Dial in Ice Blue — referred to in collector circles as the "Zorro Dial Triumph" because the black chronograph sub-dials form a distinctive cross against the light blue background.
