- ? – ? (2022–?) — Omega has used continuous serial numbers without randomization since 1895. Exact ranges for the 434.20.34 model are not publicly documented. Third generation starts in 2022; serial numbers from this period fall in the range >95 million.
Omega launched the third generation of the De Ville Prestige in October 2022, and among collectors the 34mm bicolor version goes by "Prestige 3G 34 Sedna" or "De Ville Ladies MCh 34." Reference 434.20.34.02.003 carries a silver dial, with Sedna gold running throughout the bezel, the center links of the 7-link bracelet, and the hour markers. That material mix was the real news in 2022 — Omega had never before offered a Prestige generation with Sedna gold carried all the way through a steel case.
## Cal. 8800 replaces Cal. 8500 — 15,000 gauss as the headline feature
Swapping the Cal. 8500 for the Cal. 8800 is the heart of the relaunch. It's METAS-certified as a Master Chronometer, resists magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, and comes paired with a newly cut, domed sapphire crystal and a sapphire display case back. The case itself picked up a reproportioned bezel in the triple-gadroon pattern, polished and rendered in Sedna gold — collectors now treat it as its own component, referring to it as the "Triple Gadroon Sedna."
## Four dial variants, one caliber
Alongside the silver Sedna execution (variant 02), the reference also comes with a blue PVD dial (variant 03) and two mother-of-pearl versions — one in Sedna gold, one in classic yellow gold (both variant 05). All four run the same Cal. 8800, so the differences come down purely to dial and precious-metal combination, not the movement. For gauging market value within this Prestige generation, one thing matters most: the amount of Sedna gold and the dial color pull prices apart far more than the production year itself.
