The bidirectional 60-minute Cerachrom bezel is scratch-resistant and colour-stable — Rolex standard on a technical level, yet on the black dial set in 18-carat yellow gold it makes a statement all its own. Reference code 226658-0001 designates the only available dial variant: black with Chromalight luminous material, lume duration approximately 8 hours. Powered by Calibre 3235 with a 70-hour power reserve and Chronergy escapement, which improves efficiency by 15 percent over the predecessor Calibre 3135.
## 42 mm yellow gold — where the market is pricing it right now
Retail price: approximately 38,200 euros (2024 RRP). On the secondary market the 226658 has traded since its introduction in 2019 mostly between 35,000 and 45,000 euros, depending on condition and completeness.
